Advocacy
We promote causes, issues, and social change through strategic marketing built to maximize impact.
Alabama is home and the majority of our work. We also carry clients into statehouses across the Southeast and onto Capitol Hill — moving legislation, managing crises, and running campaigns with the candor that keeps us credible in the rooms where it happens.
Most firms treat their client roster as a trophy case. We don't. The work our clients hire us for is often sensitive long before it is public — a bill being drafted, a regulatory exposure, a crisis that has not broken yet.
So we don't publish names, and we don't trade on them. If you want references, ask us and we will arrange the conversation with the client's permission. What we will put in writing is our record of outcomes — that's on The Record.
Montgomery is our base and where most of our work happens. When a client's issue crosses a state line, we go with it — and when it reaches Congress, we have standing relationships across Alabama's delegation, House and Senate alike.
Our motto is Audentes Fortuna Iuvat — fortune favors the bold. But boldness only works if the people across the table trust what you tell them. Legislators and regulators take our calls because we give them the full picture, including the parts that complicate our client's case.
That credibility is the asset our clients are actually renting. We protect it accordingly.
We promote causes, issues, and social change through strategic marketing built to maximize impact.
We partner with companies, associations, and coalitions to meet and surpass their legislative objectives.
We protect reputations with proven strategies for managing short-term crises and mitigating long-term damage.
We help medical and healthcare companies build in Alabama — siting facilities, clearing regulatory and licensure obstacles, and working the state and local relationships a new operation depends on before the first patient walks in.
We advocated for Alabama's medical cannabis program and then represented applicants through the most competitive licensing process the state has run. Four of our clients were awarded licenses in the initial offering.
Beyond passing the legislation: our COO stood up the state office that administers Alabama's E-Verify program. We know the statute and the agency that runs it.

Served on the staff of two governors and managed complex legislation. He can show you how to navigate government processes so they work in your favor.
Session calendars, bill status, committee rosters, and ethics filings — the primary sources, not our summary of them.
We will tell you honestly whether it can be — and what it will take.
